About

Dambækgaard is a sustainable farm situated in the middle of a field and offers accommodation in a newly build flat on top of the old barn overlooking the fields in quite surroundings close to Stevns Klint and the cozy shopping area in Køge. The flat has a bedroom and livingroom accommodating up to 5 persons. It's built from sustainable materials, where sustainability has been taken into consideration in all the design solutions, like compost toilet in the bathroom or white washed walls. The rest of the farm is maintained and run with as little use of fossil fuels as possible. Kirstine, the farm wife, specializes in sustainable cooking and offers social dining for breakfast and dinner, primarily organic and made from our own products. We are also available for smaller events without accommodation, like network meetings or as pop-up restaurant “Dinner at Grandmas". The farm also sells meat from the free range pigs and goats of the farm and offers courses in cooking and sustainability.
