The North Sea, the Limfjord and the open landscape of Thy are the natural setting for Lertoftegaard and our vineyards in Northwest Jutland. Here, flint, clay, the salty westerly wind and some of Denmark's very best topsoil contribute to the creation of quality Danish wine - grown and vinified in Thy. Lertoftegaard, which was built in 1928, has had proud traditions in conventional farming for several generations. In 2007, the land and property were converted to winegrowing and winemaking.
