Telliskivi Loomelinnak
About
Telliskivi Creative City, known locally as Telliskivi Loomelinnak, is Tallinn’s vibrant cultural hub. The former Baltic Railway factory now houses 10 buildings that accommodate over 300 creative enterprises, 90 % of which are artists, designers, filmmakers, and entrepreneurs. Visitors explore a mix of indoor and outdoor galleries, theaters, cafés, restaurants, and conference rooms, all enlivened by street‑art that decorates the entire complex. The centre hosts nearly a thousand cultural events annually, including the internationally celebrated Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, Jazzkaar, Tallinn Music Week, and a variety of art and music festivals. In 2019 Fotografiska Tallinn opened its doors inside the complex, offering world‑class rotating photography exhibitions and a Michelin‑starred restaurant that can be accessed without a museum ticket. Whether you’re a local creative, a curious tourist, or a family seeking a dynamic urban space, Telliskivi provides an inspiring blend of creativity, commerce, and community in the heart of Estonia’s capital.
