Our family owned bakery is located in the heart of Kajaani and has been running for over 100 years. In addition to the bakery shop, with a great selection of Finnish style bread, sweets, cakes, pastries and other treats, there is a cafe. Be sure to try especially the Finnish style rye bread called Puu-uunileipa and the tar bread! The selection changes according to the season and breakfast is served from mon-sat. The bakery suffered a fire in May 2018. However, our bakery shop is finally open again! We are building a new bakery and until then our Bakery Friends help out and we have their breads and pastries in our shop. We make our own cakes and sweets. Especially cloudberry cake and horns filled with raspberry cream are our speciality. Our motto is the words of our grandmother Saima "Hyvvää sen olla pittää!" which roughly translates to "It has to be good!"
