Used as decoration or as a walking stick, the makhila Ainciart Bergara embodies values, expresses recognition and represents the Basque culture. Made by hand and customized, it carries the first and last name together with the motto of its future owner. The Ainciart Bergara family makes it by hand for 200 years and 7 generations. The workshop can be visited all year long except Sundays and holidays. This centenary workshop seems to be out of time, with its workbench from old time and its"wall of fame", representing discounts of makhilas to personalities ( politicians like Ronald Reagan or Winston Churchill, sportsmen as Alain Giresse or Bixente Lizarazu ; actors like Charlie Chaplin)
