Located at the very heart of the village of Châteauneuf du Pape, the history of Domaine St Patrice dates back to the 18th century. Its 1.8 hectare vineyard was qualified as the oldest cru of Châteauneuf-du-Pape in the 1920s. This Monopole cultivated in a traditional way in the respect of the Earth and its biodiversity blossoms at the rhythm of the rigor and the precision. The old methods of ploughing such as ridging and decavaillonnage prevail at St Patrice. The grapes are picked by hand and carefully sorted. The vinification of the whole harvest is done in a gentle and natural way, using the principle of infusion. The wines of Domaine St Patrice brings together all the best qualities that the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation has to offer: finesse, balance, power and minerality.
