About
After buying and transforming a former Cistercian abbey, abandoned during the French Revolution, into a magnificent luxury boutique hotel, Bruno and his wife Emmanuelle are embarking on a new adventure in 2020: the takeover of the Hôtel des Remparts. More than just a hotel, this establishment is an integral part of the town's history. In fact, it was the former auction house of Elisée Epailly, her grandfather, who was also the first auctioneer for the famous charity auction of wines from the Hospices de Beaune. Bruno and Emmanuelle Epailly transformed this magnificent seventeenth-century town house with its inner courtyard next to the fifteenth-century ramparts into a new luxury boutique hotel after 3 years of renovation.
