The highest point in Notre-Dame-de-Monts, Kulmino is both a working water tower and a viewpoint over the surrounding area. The coexistence of these two activities makes this site a unique and remarkable site. Overlooking the Breton Vendée Marshes, its 70-meter-high panoramic platform offers you the unique opportunity to discover its five distinct environments at a glance: freshwater marsh, salt marsh, dune, forest, and mudflat. You can also see the islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier. Its management is shared between three structures: - Vendée Eau, owner of the building; - SAUR (urban and rural development company) , for the technical aspect; - The Océan Marais de Monts Community of Communes for the cultural and tourist aspect. Around 30,000 people a year enjoy the panoramic view, activities, visits, events and exhibitions on environmental themes with family, friends or groups.
