La Forge is an established B&B in the heart of the Creuse.You will receive a warm welcome from your hosts Diane and Ted, who offer comfort, good food and cheerful service in their delightful 19 th Century farmhouse.There are three bedrooms: two doubles and one twin, all ensuite. The double bedrooms can both accommodate an additional single bed if required. Bed linen and towels are supplied.Montaigut le Blanc is a quiet village and La Forge boasts two acres of orchard, garden and open fields with the wonderful Creuse scenery and rolling hills as a backdrop. Sunrise is the most beautiful start to a day at La Forge and with this much space and the alfresco dining areas, peace and tranquility can be enjoyed right through the day and into the night, with clear, beautiful starry skies.The garden has progressed year on year and now provides a delightful display of colour and a variety of perfumes to awaken all your senses. In summer everything is more prolific.Dinner is provided on reservation and can be served on the terrace if preferred. Quite delightful on a balmy, summer evening. If you are looking for peaceful, unspoilt countryside of gentle pastoral scenery, then the Creuse is the place for you.
