Constantia is a traditional ivy-covered property overlooking the Canal du Midi. There are four excellent canal side restaurants in Somail, a supermarket is just 2kms away, the lovely old town of Narbonne 13kms, and the Mediterranean beaches 26kms. Le Somail is a perfect location from which to explore this fascinating region. A wooden staircase leads from the entrance hall up to the accommodation, which has a two bedrooms, one with en-suite. The accommodation is all on the first floor with an unused wine storage facility below. There is a magnificent split-level open plan living area with traditional beamed ceiling and windows on three sides. The well-equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and gas hob. French windows open onto the roof terrace with barbecue, garden furniture and views across the vineyards. There is a washing machine in a third bathroom on the ground floor. The Minervois Cruisers office is next door so help and advice is always available.
