Museum in Châtenay-Malabry on the writer and politician René de Chateaubriand, located in the former residence of this one. Located a few kilometers from Paris, the Vallée-aux-Loups offered Chateaubriand in 1807 a residence away from the political scene, which he left after publishing an article castigating Napoleon's despotism. He wrote his Memoirs from Beyond the Grave there.
