Sandwiched between two roads leading towards the iconic Arc de Triomphe is Rue des Acacias, home to Japanese restaurant Zakura. Part of a chic little neighbourhood so typically Parisian it’s almost a surprise to find world cuisine in any of the restaurants which line the narrow cobbled street of towering stone terraces, Zakura is nonetheless a very welcome addition to the local dining scene. Just a moments walk from the Champs Elysee, this restaurant is just the place to stop for a refuel after pounding the priciest pavement in Paris. Sophisticated and trendy in décor with fresh, delicious Asian food ranging from filling rice dishes to lighter bites, Zakura is a true taste of Japan in the most French of locations.
