Champagne Fresne Ducret, La Bonne Table Cooking Classes, and Broquilles
About
Champagne Fresne Ducret is an independant champagne producer in the picturesque village of Villedommange near Reims, France. The vast majority (97%) of our grapes are grown within the boundaries of this Premier Cru village in vineyards lovingly cared for by us and our staff, yielding a unique product that meets our strict quality standards. To help you learn about serving champagne with food, we now offer cooking classes and a table d'hôte ("guests' table"). Napoleon Bonaparte advised the Abbé de Pradt: "Tenez bonne table et soignez les femmes," or "Keep a good table and attend to the ladies." Napoleon was a great fan of champagne, drinking it in victory and in defeat, and we're inclined to take his advice. "La Bonne Table" cooking classes and table d'hôte will educate and inspire you to pair champagne with food - either hands-on, in the case of of the cooking classes, or just by allowing yourself to be pampered at our table d'hôte. To enjoy a gourmet meal with champagne WITHOUT getting your hands dirty, we also offer a table d'hôte - literally translated "guests' table". We custom design menus to cater to your tastes, schedule and budget; from a cold country-style buffet, to a light seasonal lunch, to a luxury gastronomic meal, anything is possible!
