In Rilly-la-Montagne, a typical village in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, Clotilde Chauvet Winemaker and his brother Nicolas Chauvet Vineyard manager tend their 13,5 hectares of vineyard mainly in Premier Cru. For years now, we adapted our work to take care of the environment and ensure sustainable development, we are certified HVE and VDC (high environment value). We mostly work with chardonnay and pinot noir as we don't do the malolactic fermentation on our wines because we ant them to evolve longer but we still grow the three classic champagne grapes : Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay . Ours is a family business and already the fourth generation of champagne producers. Making Champagne is our life's work and we hope that discerning Champagne drinkers will find and appreciate our commitment in all of the Champagnes that we produce.
