About

With more than 2000 exhibits, the Champagne Wine and Regional Archaeology Museum in Epernay tells the story of the Champagne region, from its soil formation several million years ago to the present day. In the heart of the Château Perrier, the former home of Champagne wine merchants, the museum brings together one of the largest regional archaeological collections in France (ornaments, weapons, ceramics, etc.) and an important wine-growing collection which traces the evolution of Champagne production and consumption methods. The modern, interactive tour is marked out by models, fun tools and digital devices adapted to all audiences.
