The Aquarium du Périgord Noir, nestled in the picturesque town of Le Bugue, is the largest private freshwater aquarium in Europe. Spanning 4 000 m² and housing 66 spectacular tanks with more than 3 million litres of water, the aquarium showcases an impressive array of species including native trout, European catfish, sturgeon and spectacular alligators.
