Le Tournesol is a charmingly restored stone cottage with plenty of character and comfort, it is well-equipped and has satellite TV (UK & FR), DVD player & WiFi (& 4G). The gite has it's own shady parking space and dining terrace with BBQ. The swimming pool - 10 x 5m (120cm deep) is heated with a salt-system, it is available from the first Saturday in April to the first Saturday in November. It has a large sun terrace, plenty of loungers and a lovely view over the surrounding countryside. There is also a large garden to the rear with plenty of tree shade and strategically placed garden furniture. The property is located only 5 minutes from Daglan, Cenac-et-St Julien and Domme, all of which have shops and restaurants and 15 minutes from Sarlat-la-Caneda, the beautiful medieval town at the centre of this area. All kinds of tourist attractions are very close - we are in the valley of the chateaux with 4 spectacular sites to visit within 15 minutes, river beaches where swimming and paddling is safe, gastronomic restaurants, medieval towns, charming villages and breath-taking gardens plus any number of sporting activities - canoeing, golf, tennis, horse-riding, walking & cycling to name but a few.
