Maison Anne Fouquet (gîte)
About
Anne Fouquet's luxury holiday house, with its 2 double or twin rooms with bathrooms and separate toilets, living-room and kitchen, is in the heart of the Perigord Noir on a gentle slope close to La Roque-Gageac, a village officially listed as one of the most beautiful in France. The picturesque village enjoys a near-Mediterranean climate. It is only 10 minutes from the medieval town of SARLAT, renowned for its art and history, its architectural gems, and its respect for the Perigord's world-wide reputation for good food. The architect-built house, in a style derived from the former tobacco barns once prolific in this area, has been constructed with the greatest care – allying modern constructional techniques with the highest quality materials. The holiday house is spacious, well lit and very comfortable; along with the salon, they have a fully southern exposure and lovely views over the Dordogne valley. Decoration of the house was conceived entirely by Anne Fouquet and her husband Luc, a fine art painter and decorator.
