About
Coeuvres and Valsery Abbey was built in a place called "the quiet vale". But its history from the first Prémontré Monks to WWI gave it a tumultuous destiny. Currently works are going on to protect the ruins of the abbey. Members of the association will tell its history, speak about its architecture, and let you discover the stone works. Within 15 minutes from Villers-Cotterêts, guided visits every saturday and sunday, as of beginning of april to end of october, from 9 to 12 AM and 2 to 6 PM. Adults price 3 euros, free for kids. A stone cutter course is organized on a week during april holidays.
