Frégate is a family Vineyard built in the 60s, first bottle of wine to be sold in 1971. Mr de Pissy plants vines only on Bandol appellation with minimum yield to have the best quality. Soil and climate are perfect for the mourvedre, the main variety of grapes in Bandol, lot of sun but few days of rain. After the step son it is the grandson who is in charge of the 30 hectares of gapes lands. He is doing responsible farming as an important point for us to be as closely as possible to the wishes of our costumers. Thanks to our position just next to the sea we have maritim air to dry after the rain and give the grapes iode air.
