Welcome to Sahlis! The Kohren-Sahlis manor complex south of Leipzig, built in the 15th century, is gradually being revitalized and renovated. It is intended to become a vacation and residential area with medical care, a unique learning center, and a model horse farm, harking back to agricultural and regional history. The site, which has been vacant for decades, is currently in a very dilapidated condition. Emergency roof reinforcements and initial renovation work have begun. The Kohren-Sahlis Rococo Park Friends Association offers a RUIN café/restaurant, guided tours, cultural and nature education projects, park seminars, and other special events, such as picnics in the park, craftsmen and jugglers' days, and Rococo Advent. In addition to the unique backdrop for photos and films, you can book your exclusive carriage and a bed in the castle park, spend the summer here with your horses or simply camp for a night in the grounds.
