Welcome to the Hotel Alter Markt The hotel, located in the historic center of Köpenick, will present itself in a fresh look in 2023. In addition to the newly designed entrance and breakfast area, the hotel rooms have also been renovated, the corridors have been given a fresh coat of paint and sound-insulating carpets have been laid out - for the best sleep in Köpenick. All rooms have shower/toilet, TV and free WiFi. Your car can be parked in our inner courtyard. All of this is complemented by a new hotel crew led by - you guessed it - a new hotel manager. Hotel director Joachim Rünzi The trained chef and hotel specialist has many years of experience in the hotel business, which has been honored with awards at his stations in southern Germany, Switzerland and England, such as: "Taste the South - Restaurateur Baden Württemberg" "2 v. 3 Lions of Baden Württemberg” and other awards he received. Most recently, Mr. Rünzi worked in the Black Forest, who is now not only responsible for the front office at the Hotel Alten Markt but also implements new ideas in culinary matters - such as the homemade "Redstone - Birchermüsli".
