Coming from the direction of Wittenberg, the suburban pond is a small oasis to linger. It is a dammed-up pond that used to belong to the Strohwalde domain with the large pond systems in Niebicke and Strohwalde and was regularly fished out. In the 1920s there was also a gondola station. A beautiful green area has been created here today.
