Westfield Centro
About
Westfield Centro, formerly known as CentrO until it was rebranded by the Westfield Group in 2021, is the largest shopping centre in Germany, located in the heart of Oberhausen, North Rhine‑Westphalia. The 125,000‑m² mall opened in 1996 and today hosts more than 250 stores, ranging from high‑end fashion boutiques to everyday retailers, a wide variety of restaurants, cafés and services, and entertainment options such as a cinema and a large leisure area. Designed to resemble a 21st‑century town square, the complex features an open‑air promenade and a glass‑roofed atrium that serve as gathering places for shoppers. With its wide variety of brands, family‑friendly layout, and plenty of free parking, Westfield Centro has become a popular destination for both locals and visitors seeking a one‑stop shopping and leisure experience in the region.
