About
The Modellbundesbahn is a publicly accessible model railway layout that can be visited in the town of Brakel. The exhibition hall with 675 m² surface and a track length of approximately 1.100 m is corresponding to the model situation of august of 1975. The Weserbergland in the scale of H0 is shown. The model railway is completely digitally and automatically controlled. The landscape and all trees were made without exception by hand, a total of 35,000 working hours have flowed into the construction of the modellbundesbahn.
