The historic Sayn district offers many sightseeing attractions, including Sayn Palace, Sayn Castle, the butterfly garden, Sayn Abbey and Sayn Hut. Furthermore, only about 2.5 km away from the "Waldgasthof Friedrichsberg" is the largest zoo in Rhineland-Palatinate, the "Neuwieder Zoo".
