BELANTIS
About
Belantis, the largest family amusement park in Central Germany, sprawls across 27 hectares on the southern outskirts of Leipzig. Since its opening in 2003, the park has grown to house over 60 attractions, including four roller coasters, four water rides, and a wide array of themed worlds such as the Throne of Belantis, Island of the Knights, Valley of the Pharaohs, and Singing Island. Each world is carefully designed around a distinct narrative, offering immersive shows, thrilling rides, and family-friendly experiences. Beyond the rides, guests can explore interactive exhibits, enjoy a variety of dining options—from snack temples to full-service cafés—and shop for souvenirs. As a visitor, you’ll also find a well-organized layout that enables easy navigation between zones, extensive on‑site facilities, and a strong emphasis on safety standards. Whether you’re a thrill‑seeker, a family looking for shared adventures, or a history enthusiast eager to learn about exotic cultures, Belantis delivers an engaging blend of excitement, education, and hospitality. Visiting the park during the spring or early autumn allows you to enjoy the attractions in milder weather while avoiding the peak summer crowds. A typical visit lasts around three hours, but experienced visitors often spend an entire day exploring every world. The park’s future plans include a major expansion and a new partnership with Compagnie des Alpes, bringing even more attractions and themed areas in the coming years.
