BAAL – HISTORY AND STORIES sometimes we see people return to Munich after many years of absence. They are amazed how nothing has changed and that the Baal is still the same old beautiful place as they have always known it to be. Our shelves still offer you books to read, our menu titbits from Italy and Spain with a good selection of local beers, fine wines, homemade lemonades… Baal is to be a place with personality, an uncomplicated meeting point for neighbors and friends. This is the place to finish off a visit to the theatre or cinema. At the Baal we witnessed friendships begin, children grow up, love stories, weddings and big parties. People fought and smashed dishes, but most of the time people laughed.
