RELiGIO is a museum for religious art and culture. It gives informations about the wourld religions, about the celebrations during the course of life, the religious landscape of westfalia, about pigrimmages and pilgrims and about Cardinal von Galen. The museum is located in the idyllic town of Telgte. The museum is also architecturally very interesting. The clear, linear extension designed by the master cathedral architect Dominikus Bohm is a listed building. The tour of the permanent exhibition begins in the modern building designed by the internationally renowned architect Josef Paul Kleihues.
