The Wichtel craft brewery started life in Ditzingen. In 1989, it first opened its doors here and quickly found a great number of loyal friends thanks to its self-brewed beers and the exclusive Wichtel cakes. Since the end of 2013, the Wichtel has been back in Ditzingen. In the middle of the town, just across from the Town Hall, it is located in a former courtyard from the 17th/18th century. People of all ages get together on the two floors of the historical half-timbered house with modern furnishings – a popular meeting place for anyone from and around Ditzingen.
