Honorable Tradition The Hotel and Restaurant Rose has more than 200-year history Our house has a long history as a catering operation. Even in the 18th century, guests could dine well here. Over time, the Hotel and Restaurant Rose was known for its culinary achievements far beyond the borders of the country. Benjamin and Christian Maerz build on this honorable tradition now. Their parents led the operation for more than 20 years. Since the summer of 2013, the brothers of the house now draw on their own fortunes and they strive for a rich gastronomic experience. With a young, creative cuisine Benjamin Maerz has already cooked up a Michelin star for the restaurant. As the youngest star chef in Germany at the moment, he is known throughout the region. Restaurant Manager and Sommelier Christian Maerz has his own personal style and has been a great contribution to this success, and he creates an atmosphere in which food is simply a pleasure. Together, the brothers complement their strengths. For them, it's loose and relaxing, the crowd is mixed and favors a versatile culinary experience without any social pressure. A new chapter in the more than 200-year history of this venerable Hotel and Restaurant Rose has opened.
