Ace Hotel & Swim Club Athens was raised from the foundation of the former Fenix Hotel in Glyfada, on the shores of the Athens Riviera. Created in collaboration with Ciguë Architecture, it’s an exultant place in the sun at the cusp of two worlds: near to island ferries and some of the area’s best beaches, yet connected to the best of Athens' past, present and future. The 120-room property, which joins Palm Springs as our second Swim Club, is as an homage to Greek modernism, channeling the elegant functionality of its post-war architecture and its timeless island dwellings. Indoor and outdoor blur between the Lobby and the poolside terrace, which takes cues from classic Mediterranean leisure culture. The rooms, equipped with balconies to soak it all in and the most comfortable beds this side of the Aegean, are where you want to wake up and smell the ocean. The art collection — thoughtfully assembled by Athens-based curators — showcases a cross-section of Athens' contemporary scene wit
