Established in 2012 in Athens, Greece, ATTIC BLACK features iconic, handmade pottery showcasing the Grecian heritage & culture. ATTIC BLACK is the retail brand for the ceramic products of the THETIS' Workshop. It is named after the black glaze of classical Attic pottery (6th-5th century BC) that forms the basis of the expertise of the Workshop. The products include ancient toys, excavation and conservation kits, jewelry, tableware, cooking pots and artifacts inspired by the Prehistoric pottery of the Cyclades and Thessaly. They are available at the retail corner of the ATTIC BLACK studio, Museum shops and selected Concept Stores. Studio visits & Training Guided tours to ATTIC BLACK: THETIS’ Workshop are offered free of charge. ATTIC BLACK is proud to capitalize on years of extensive scientific research in ancient Greek ceramic craftsmanship, specializing in tailor-made thematic training courses for archaeology students, artists, and knowledgeable individuals.
