Josef is a visitable woodturning workshop in the picturesque village of Archanes . Here you can find exceptional handmade items, kitchen utensils and bowls, souvenirs, artistic objects and more. You can also experience turning on the lathe or watch a live demonstration! Josef is run by Olga and Joseph, who in 2016, started experimenting on a wood lathe. The experiment became a beloved hobby and in 2019 Josef opened its doors for the 1st time. Most of our products are one of a kind! We have created items with unique and user friendly designs! We believe that care, persistence and continuous learning are the steps to great quality. We pay attention to details in every step of our production process. We like to work with many kinds of wood. From olive wood with its unique grain to carob that has red marble-like grain to beech and oak which are ideal for big kitchen items. The list is so big! We have turned at least 20 different types of wood! Come visit us in the entrance of Archanes!
