The cafe-restaurant 'ITHOMI ", built at the foot of the mountain' Ithomi ', opposite the historic gurgling waters of the fountain' Klepsydras'kai overlooking the magnificent archaeological site of Ancient Messina, is a place full of stories alive locals and travelers. The old stone wall surfaces of the patios and the old utensils in the interior space give a special touch and charm. The story begins in the late 1800s when it was first erected to home ownership. After several decades worked as grocery, then turned into Sholarhio and occupation period housed the space of a small restaurant. 1981 Was an uninhabited building now when Panagiotis Kountouris bought by John and Athanasia Kouvelakis. Began operating as a restaurant since 1987. The culinary journey continues undeterred until today the family Koundouri and longitudinal express delivery and quality of traditional foods and products. Our family restaurant for 28 years in full operation throughout the year, bringing the Messinian hospitality and provides friendly service, homemade Greek cuisine and local traditional dishes.
