The many previous visitors to Molyvos will remember the the little cafe at the bottom of the Agora run by the wonderfully friendly "dodo".Dodo has now moved premises to a new cafe next to the Castle.The new premises under the name Byzantine,continue with the excellent service that was provided at the old premises,lots of good (prepared on site ) snacks,a wonderful choice of ice-creams and sorbets,and a good selection of both soft and alcoholic beverages,For newcomers to Molyvos ,do not worry about the climb to the castle,refreshment awaits you,either before or after visiting the castle,personally I prefer the after option because it allows time to sit and relax in the cafe's wonderfully appointed viewing area with lots of seating,and views over Molyvos,the bay,and over to Turkey.The premises are open from early in the morning to late at night,a great site to enjoy the wonderful Molyvian sunsets.
