A three generations long tradition holds and preserves the natural park in Karini, Lesvos, only 15 minutes away from Mitilini. Located above the river, Karini Restaurant is sited on a wonderful oasis, featuring springs and pools, ducks and singing birds, in immense natural beauty. In the premises resides the famous Theofilos tree, with its spacious hollow, where the renowned painter used to find shelter and tranquility. The visitor can also see artworks made by wood sculptor Yorgo Sykomytelli, decorating the interior of the restaurant. Karini Restaurant offers a great gastronomical variety, homemade sweets, coffee and snacks and hosts private or public events and music shows.
