Gavalas Winery, a family‑run boutique winery nestled in the picturesque village of Megalochori on Santorini, is one of the island’s oldest wine producers. With five generations of winemaking expertise, the estate specializes in volcanic‑terrain varietals such as Assyrtiko, Aidani, Mandilaria, and Mavrotragano, and is the only winery on the island that vinifies rare native grapes like Katsano and Voudomato.
