WELCOME TO MODON At the southwesterly edge of Messinia, at the scenic and historically rich Methoni, we created MODON. Our restaurant is been located at the same building where 30 years ago our parents George and Katherin, immigrants abroad, created the family tavern “To Meltemi”(dry , north wind of the Aegean Sea). We stay committed, following our family’s heritage, combined with our multiannual experience in professional catering. The promotion of local recipes and regional products along with the welcoming setting of our recently renovated restaurant are essential ingredients for our purpose, to be distinguished in every good food lover’s mind, balancing between tradition and creativity. MODON restaurant (former “To Meltemi”) is located at Beach square in Methoni gazing over the sea and the enchanting small fortified islet of Bourtzi.
