The Guba Rózsa Doll Museum and Art Gallery, opened in 2024, at Bogdányi út 34, in the heart of Szentendre, welcomes its visitors for a "time travel in the world of dolls". In the special doll museum, textile figurines made by the artist during his 40 years of work, based on original archives, paintings, and photographs, offer visitors a lasting experience. Recommended for both young and old. For more than 40 years, folk artisan Rózsa Guba has been making her figures made of textiles (including faces) based on various paintings, photographs and her own research and documentation. Over time, a significant number of his works were acquired by collectors, as state gifts or commissioned by celebrities and Japanese customers, but now nearly 200 of these figures can be viewed by the general public in the Szentendre gallery. From time to time, the creator also appears in the impressive exhibition space, and he is happy to guide the visitors around this special world.
