Thermal Beer Spa
About
The Thermal Beer Spa is a unique wellness destination located in two iconic Budapest baths – Lukács and Széchenyi – that turns the classic spa experience into an unforgettable beer‑infused adventure. Visitors soak in 39‑degree mineral‑rich thermal water, blended with hops, malt and brewer’s yeast to create a gentle, medicinal bath that promotes relaxation, vitality and skin health. Each 45‑minute session comes with unlimited Czech beer poured directly from the taps inside the pool – the beer is mixed with a special beer‑salt to create a fragrant, alcohol‑free “beer‑water” that slightly raises the temperature while delivering a soothing aroma. Besides the standard beer‑spa, guests can explore a light ice‑bath ritual, sauna, and massage offerings, as well as private cabins for a more intimate experience. All services are offered through a combined ticket that covers entry to both the beer‑spa and the larger bath complex, or through a separate private cabin fee. The spa is open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., providing ample flexibility for city dwellers and tourists alike. Situated in the heart of Budapest, the Lukács location sits beside the Danube with lush park views, while the Széchenyi spot sits within the historic thermal complex that boasts a large outdoor pool, sauna, and spa halls. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a day of sightseeing, relieve muscle tension, or simply experience a novel wellness tradition, the Thermal Beer Spa offers an accessible, memorable adventure for solo travelers, couples, and groups alike.
