Helia-D - the most well-known company in Hungarian quality skincare - renovated a stunning 16th-century Baroque mansion to open a herb and beauty centre in Tolcsva, in the heart of the famous Tokaj Wine Region, world heritage site, in 2016. The Herbal House is surrounded by a thematic garden of 24 herbs used in cosmetics. Inside there is a museum display the history of Hungarian beauty industry and the story of previous noble owners of the mention. The exhibition rooms are situated in authentic XIX. century styled interiors. Visitors can get hands-on experience of preparing cosmetics. 15 minutes-long cream preparing occasions are available any time. Those who interested in deeper information two hours-long professional workshop can be booked. A nice Cafe and Helia-D shop also awaits for visitors. Helia-D Beauty Salon - with treatments, manicure and solarium- is also the part of the attraction that is only 15 minutes’ drive from the hotels of Erdobenye, Sarospatak and Ujhuta.
