ABOUT THE PÖRC ... The Kocsis family has been dealing with butcher's goods for almost one hundred and fifty years. Jenő Kocsis, owner of Pörc Bistro & Delicatessen, represents the fifth generation of the butcher dynasty. The meat available in the Delicatessen is mostly processed in their own meat factory, thus guaranteeing uniqueness and quality. The Bistro ... The bistro, which opened in the summer of 2018, is closely intertwined with the traditions around the delicacy. The starting idea of the menu is a Bessenyei quote, which immediately creates the atmosphere and makes the guest curious. The quote reads, “Every nation has become a scholar in its own language, but never a stranger.” And why does a bistro in Balatonkenese choose this quote? Both the delicacy and the bistro are characterized by a prehistoric main drive. The aim of the menu is for Hungarians to rediscover our colorful gastronomic heritage.
