Hraundalur is a contemporary farmhouse located on a 650 hectare private land 1,5 hour drive from Reykjavik on the way to the Snæfellsnes peninsula. This is as secluded a place as you can find - the nearest house is 2,5 kilometres away. A river runs through the property, and two small lakes are home to a variety of birds. The house has three double bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a sauna with an outdoor shower.
