Restaurant "The Barn" is located in the old barn of Smáratún Farm. Most of the food served here comes from our own farm. Always wanted to taste real free range Icelandic lamb meat, fresh fish caught by the fishermen from the Westman Islands or any other meal visit our restaurant. Guests can either decide for a three course set menu, or choose optional dishes from the menu. Vegetarian, lactose and gluten free dinner is also offered. The Barn is one of only two restaurants in Iceland that have been certified by the Nordic Swan - the official environmental label for the Nordic countries. The restaurant is also certified for wheelchair access.
