Speciality cafe, bar and a homey eatery. Our name is pronounced as "Cafe Like..ur" or Kaffi Laugalækur in Icelandic. Situated around the corner from Iceland’s largest and most popular swimming pool: Laugardalslaug. Also the botanical gardens, gourmet shops, petting zoo and family parks, and ferry to Videy island. Offering good value and healthy award winning Nordic sourdough pizzas, salads, sandwiches, soups and dish of the day. Homemade cakes and pastries. Plenty of vegan options. Weekday lunch offers, happy hour daily 4-7pm and 10-11pm, brunch served on weekends from 11am to 3 pm. Using the freshest seasonal food ingredients, speciality coffee and tea and local craft beer. Owned by family and friends we have a welcoming and friendly vibe with a Nordic design. Our name refers to the street name and the geothermal water in the area. Reykjavík city takes its name from the natural steam that flows underground our cafe! We also have a hostel and a progressive art gallery.
