Dublinia
About
Dublinia transports visitors back to 10th‑century Dublin, a vibrant hub where Vikings met the onslaught of the English. The museum, located in Christ Church, tells the story through immersive exhibits of Viking and Medieval life, complete with walking tours of a reconstructed Viking house, a detailed medieval street scene, and the historic past gallery. Daily guided tours begin at 11:00 am, with a special 2:00 pm living‑history session where knowledgeable guides reenact Viking and Medieval interactions. Visitors can join an interactive 40‑minute public tour or an hour‑long walking tour. All tickets include access to exhibitions, guided tours, and living‑history sessions, making this a rich educational experience for families, school groups, and history enthusiasts alike. The museum is closed only on the 24th, 25th, and 26th of December each year. Admission to children is free from December through the New Year, while all other visitors pay an adult ticket of €18.00 with discounted rates for seniors and students. Dublinia is open daily from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, with last admission at 5:00 pm, and offers a 90‑minute recommended visit time to cover all key exhibits.
