The Horse and Hound is an old village pub, with accommodation above, which has recently been fully refurbished. The interiors are sympathetic to a bygone era when the horse and trap was the main means of transportation. Our beautifully appointed rooms are an ideal resting place for golfers, hikers, walkers, cyclists and sightseers alike. Our lounge is warm, comfortable and welcoming and we have a beautiful beer garden to the rear with a large open log fire. A newer addition to the premises is our Sports Bar which is a great place to grab a pint and cheer with the locals. While a full breakfast is not available there are some excellent restaurants for dinner and lunch within walking distance. We look forward to welcoming you at the Horse & Hound.
