The funeral Mausoleums had been built outside the walls of the ancient town of Avella and, more specifically, on the road that linked it to Nola. They are familiar tombs that date back to the 1st century B. C. and the 1st century A.D. Inside them some busts have been found together with the funeral kit. now they are stored at the museum.
