Just 8 kilometers from the medieval village of Castellabate and a short walk from the town of Mercato Cilento there is Palazzo del Baglivo, an enchanting historic palace in which the charm of a baronial mansion of the seventeenth century meets the peace and tranquility of a wellness center overlooking the countryside. Palace of Baglivo is in Casigliano, a small fraction of Sessa Cilento at 600 meters above sea level and nestled in the green valleys of the National Park of Cilento. The building, with its special structure that blends ancient and modern, has 2 rooms and 5 suites, all unique and furnished in a sober and elegant way. The rooftop terrace "where time goes by" is the place where our guests can enjoy a healthy organic breakfast of local products and are enchanted by the sounds and colors of nature. The outdoor area is spacious and sunny and is home to the "Water Route" (swimming pool with cervical Jacuzzi), hot tub and bar where you can enjoy delicious cocktails, drinks and snacks. Finally, the wellness center "The Quintessence"...built at the base of the tower that dominates the entire structure, our spa welcomes its guests inviting them to sit in the bio-sauna, not without having experienced the emotional shower, to then conclude this sensory experience with a long and relaxing massage. The Palace is the ideal location for couples and small groups, and for anyone who wants to rediscover the beauty of this unspoilt area, yet rich in history and culture, surrounded by the peace of the valley and only 20 minutes from the coast.
